Data controller

What we collect and why

• Orders: name, email, phone number, delivery address, items ordered. To prepare and ship your order, keep you informed of its progress and keep our accounts (performance of the contract and legal obligation).
• Payment: processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
• Newsletter: your email address and the date you signed up, only if you sign up at the bottom of the page. To send you our news (your consent). You can unsubscribe at any time, using the link in every email or by writing to us.
• Restock alert: your email address, only if you click “Notify me” on a sold-out size. To write to you once, when the size is back (your request). It is used for nothing else and does not sign you up to the newsletter.
• Messages with us: the content of your emails, so we can reply to you (legitimate interest).

We do not do targeted advertising and we do not sell any data.

Retention periods

Orders and invoices: 10 years (accounting obligation). Customer contact details: 3 years after the last order. Customer service emails: 3 years after the last exchange. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Restock alert: until the alert is sent, 12 months at most.

Service providers

Stripe (payment), Railway (website hosting), Brevo (sending order emails) and the carrier chosen for delivery. Some of them are located outside the European Union: these transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

No advertising or audience measurement cookies. Only what is strictly necessary is used: your bag is stored in your browser, and Stripe may set cookies that are essential for payment security.

Audience measurement

To find out which pages are viewed and where visitors come from (social network, search engine, direct link), the website counts visits anonymously, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Your IP address is only used, at that moment, to work out your country: it is never stored. A visitor can only be recognised for one day, by means of a fingerprint that cannot be linked to you and that changes every day. These statistics are not shared with anyone and are deleted after 25 months.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict its use or obtain a copy of it, by writing to contact@bylmte.com. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
